The goal: Infuse Streambox’s Enterprise Server and Streambox Live web based video management, distribution, and playout interfaces with consistent UI paradigms, a responsive design, and a user friendly layout.

User flows were created in order to optimize common tasks, full mockups were created for all screen states, and final graphics were provided to the development team. The improved interface was rolled out worldwide and helped streamline product interoperability and expose powerful, yet accessible new features to customers.

The task was to transform a utilitarian broadcast quality video streaming app into a streamlined, user-friendly, simple app that non-technical users could pick-up and use with minimal training. Workflows were created to streamline new tasks and optimize established tasks. Prototypes were built to layout and refine the interface based on feedback from product development teams and users in the field. Design was completed based on latest mobile HIGs and design languages, and all assets were packaged for the development team. The App launched in Spring 2014 is currently available on the Apple App Store (still in Beta testing for Android).

Streambox’s laptop-based software encoders needed interfaces that allowed their power and flexibility to be easily harnessed by end users. Using previously established workflows, new application prototypes were created that allowed users to exploit the applications’ powerful features without getting caught up in the clunky, unintuitive interface. Final designs and UI elements were created and packaged for the development team. User response has been overwhelmingly positive.

This task involved comprehensive rebuild and redesign of the outdated and Web1.0 Streambox.com website. The previous website was a haphazard mashup of HTML tables and minimal CSS; bringing the website up to date using modern coding methods and managing it with a powerful CMS (Drupal) was imperative for the future growth of the website. This new platform allows for easy expandability, SEO, and simple integration with advanced analytics, ad conversion tracking, and social media integration.

In addition, the massive Brokers Toolbook, which provided collateral templates and guidelines for Colliers brokers, was revamped so that the brokers could make full use of the new collateral and brand image.
